દેશના પ્રથમ બિનકોંગ્રેસ પીએમ મોરારજી દેસાઇનું ૯૯ વર્ષની વયે નિધન

ભારતના છઠ્ઠા વડા પ્રધાન મોરારજી દેસાઈનું ૧૯૯૫માં ૧૦એપ્રિલનાં દિવસે નિધન થયું હતું. તેઓ ભારતનાં પ્રથમ બિનકોંગ્રેસી વડાપ્રધાન હતા. જોકે તેઓ પોતાનો કાર્યકાળ પૂરો કરી શક્યા નહોતા. તેમને પોતાની જન્મ તારીખ ૨૯ ફેબ્રુઆરી માટે પણ યાદ કરવામાં આવે છે. મોરારજી દેસાઈ ૧૯૭૭ થી ૧૯૭૯ સુધી ભારતનાં વડાપ્રધાન રહ્યાં હતા.

ડિજીલોકર શું છે?

ડિજીલોકર એ ડિજીટલ ઇન્ડિયા પહેલ હેઠળ ભારત સરકારે હાથ ધરેલો ફ્લેગશિપ પ્રોગ્રામ છે. તેનો ઉદ્દેશ ડિજીટલ સશ્ક્તિકરણ થકી દેશને જ્ઞાનસમ્રૃદ્ધ અર્થતંત્રલક્ષી બનાવવાનો છે. ડિજીટલ ઇન્ડિયાના વિઝનનાં ક્ષેત્રો સાથે જોડાઇને નાગરિકો ડિજીલોકર દ્વારા એક્બીજા સાથે પબ્લિક કલાઉડ ઉપર ઉપલબ્ધ બનાવી શકાય છે.

 ડિજીલોકરના ફાયદાઓ:

* દસ્તાવેજો સાચવવાની ઝંઝટમાંથી મુક્તિ.(Paperless)

* પ્રાઇવેટ કલાઉડ કરતા સરકારી ડિજીલોકરમાં દસ્તવેજો મુકવાથી સુરક્ષા અને સલામતીની ખાતરી,

* ડિજીલોકરથી જોડાયેલો સંસ્થાઓમાંથી સેવા મેળવવા પુરાવા રજૂ કરવાની સરળતા.

* અગત્યના દસ્તાવેજોની પેપર કોપી સાચવવાની અથવા દરેક જગ્યાએ સાથે રાખવાની ઝંઝટમાંથી મુક્તિ.

ડિજીલોકર પર કેવા ડોક્યુમેન્ટ અપલોડ કરી શકાય?

રાશનકાર્ડ, આધારકાર્ડ, ડ્રાઇવીંગ લાયસન્સ, આવકનો દાખલો, રહેઠાણના પુરાવા,જમીન /મિલકતના દસ્તાવેજો, ભણતરને લગતા દસ્તાવેજો જેમકે શાળા છોડ્યાનું પ્રમાણપત્રક, ગુણપત્રક(Mark sheet), ડિગ્રી સર્ટિફિકેટ વગેરે.

ડિજીલોકરથી જોડાવાનિ પધ્ધતિ

* જનસેવા કેંદ્ર, એટીવીટી સેન્ટર, ઇ-ધરા, સેવા સેતુમાં કરી જોડાવું.

* ભારત સરકારના ડિજીટલ લોકર digilocker.gov.in પોર્ટલ ઉપર આધાર નંબર સાથે રજીસ્ટ્રેશન કરવું.

* ડિજીટલ ગુજરાત પોર્ટલ મારફતે ભારત સરકારના ડિજીલોકર સાથે જોડાણ.

What are the key features of DigiLocker?

Following are the key features of the DigiLocker

For Residents

i. Digital Locker of each resident is linked to their Aadhaar number
ii. 10MB of free space in the locker to securely store resident documents and store
links (URI) of Govt. department or agency issued e-documents. The storage
space allocation will be increased to 1GB in subsequent release.
iii. eSign online service to digitally sign the documents online without using
dongle. For details please refer to the e-Sign brochure available on the portal.
iv. Sharing of e-documents online with any registered requester agency or
department
v. Download eAadhaar .
vi. List of issuers which have issued e-documents to residents and list of
requesters which have accessed resident‟s documents.

For Issuers
i. Facility to upload e-documents in a standard XML format in the digital locker
repository or repositories and push e-document URI in the resident‟s digital
locker

For Requesters
i. Secure access to documents in repository or in digital locker

UMANG

UMANG app to help citizens access e-Govt services on their mobile phones.

Unified Mobile Application for New age Governance (UMANG) will be the new app where  people can  access  e-Gov services from the Centre, states and even from local bodies and their agencies on their mobile phone

Soon people across the country will be able to access e-Gov services from the Centre, states and even from local bodies and their agencies on their mobile phone. Moving on further on PM Narendra Modi's dream of Digital India, the government has proposed to build a common, unified mobile platform and application - Unified Mobile Application for New age Governance (UMANG).

So, whether one wants to apply for a passport or wants to file income-tax returns or wants to pay various bills or to access any other government services which are already on the digital platform, the new Umang application will be able to help all such concerns.

Officials said the proposal of integrated platform on mobile phone is part of PM Narendra Modi's Digital India programme to transform country into a digitally-empowered society and knowledge economy.
