CCTNS - Crime and Criminal Tracking Network System

The Crime and Criminal Tracking Network System (CCTNS) project was initiated in 2009 as part of police modernisation programme under the national e-governance project.

It was conceived to bring all 16,000 police stations in India under a single network to counter terror challenges.

The core objective of CCTNS is to connect all the police stations so that any of the police stations can contact any other police station; thereby facilitate collection, storage, retrieval, analysis and transfer the information among police stations, state headquarters and central police organizations.

What is e-Courts?

e-Courts is a new concept where from filing of a petition till its disposal, use of paper is restricted to bare minimum.

e-court, the lawyers would not need to carry bulky files but would come to court with laptops, pen drives and would be able to file the petitions in PDF.

E-courts help in various ways such as: Help judicial administrations of the courts, streamline day-to-day activities, assist Judicial Administration in reducing pendency of cases, provides transparency of information to litigants, and provides judges access to legal and judicial databases.

પ્રધાનમંત્રી ઉજવલા યોજના શું છે???

પ્રધાનમંત્રી ઉજવલા યોજના હેઠળ મામુલી ચાર્જથી ફકત બીપીએલ મહિલા કાર્ડ ધારકોને એલપીજી કનેકશનો આપવાની યોજના છે. આ યોજના હાલ ઉત્તર પ્રદેશ, રાજસ્થાન, ગુજરાત, ઉત્તરાખંડ, ઓડિશા, ડિશા, બિહાર અને મધ્યપ્રદેશ શરૂ કરાઇ છે. આ યોજના હેઠળ બીપીએલ મહિલા કાર્ડ ધારકોને એલપીજી કનેકશનો આપવામાં આવ્યા હતા.

તેલુગુ ઈન્ડસ્ટ્રીમાં પોતાના અભિનયના ઓજસ પાથરનાર ડિમ્પલ ચોપડેએ શહેરના ગોંડલ રોડ સ્થિત બાલાશ્રમમાંથી આજે એક બાળકને દત્તક લઈ અનેકને પ્રેરણા આપી છે. ર૮ વર્ષીય તેલુગુ અભિનેત્રી ડિમ્પલ ચોપડેએ અહીંના બાલાશ્રમમાંથી બાળક દત્તક લઈને અનેક લોકોને પ્રેરણા આપી છે. 

ચેમ્પિયન્સ ટ્રોફી માટે BCCI એ આજે ટીમ ઇન્ડિયાની જાહેરાત કરી

ચેમ્પિયન્સ ટ્રોફી માટે બોર્ડ ઓફ કંટ્રોલ ફોર ક્રિકેટ ઇન ઇન્ડિયા (બીસીસીઆઇ) એ આજે ટીમ ઇન્ડિયાની જાહેરાત કરી દીધી છે. આ ટીમનો કેપ્ટન હશે કોહલી. ટીમમાં શિખર ધવન, એમ.એસ. ધોની, રોહિત શર્મા, અજિંક્ય રહાણે, કેદાર જાધવ, મનીષ પાંડે, યુવરાજ સિંહ, હાર્દિક પંડયા, રવિન્દ્ર જાડેજા, આર. અશ્વિન, ઉમેશ યાદવ, મોહમ્મદ શમી તેમજ જસપ્રીત બુમરાહનો પણ સમાવેશ કરવામાં આવ્યો છે.

ઈંગ્લેન્ડમાં આ વર્ષની પહેલી જૂનથી રમાનાર આઈસીસી પ્રેરિત ચેમ્પિયન્સ ટ્રોફી ક્રિકેટ સ્પર્ધામાં ભારતની ટીમ પણ ભાગ લેશે.

ભારત આ સ્પર્ધામાં હાલનું ચેમ્પિયન છે. ભારતને ગ્રુપ-Bમાં સ્થાન આપવામાં આવ્યું છે.ગ્રુપ-B માં પાકિસ્તાન, દક્ષિણ આફ્રિકા અને શ્રીલંકાનો સમાવેશ કરવામાં આવ્યો છે. આ સિવાય ગ્રુપ-Aની ચાર ટીમ છે જેમાં ઈંગ્લેન્ડ, ઓસ્ટ્રેલિયા, ન્યુ ઝીલેન્ડ અને બાંગ્લાદેશનો સમાવેશ થાય છે. ચેમ્પિયન્સ ટ્રોફી માટે ભારત તેની પહેલી મેચ 4 જૂને રમશે, જે પાકિસ્તાન સામેની હશે. એ મેચ બર્મિંઘમમાં રમાશે, ભારતીય સમય મુજબ બપોરે 3 વાગ્યે આ મેચ શરૂ થશે.

CRPF has been shifted back from Kolkata to Chhattisgarh

The strategic anti-Naxal operations command headquarters of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has been shifted back from Kolkata to Raipur.

The central zone command headquarters was shifted from Raipur to Kolkata in 2010 , owing to logistics and connectivity issues.

This decision is due to the backdrop of ambush in Sukma district in which 37 jawans killed of the paramilitary force.

The central zone command headquarters was raised on August 7, 2009, to carry out the deployment of troops to the States affected by Left Wing Extremism such as West Bengal, Jharkhand, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh.

CRPF - Central Reserve Police Force

CRPF is the largest central armed police force or paramilitary force in India. It functions under the aegis of Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA).  

It was established in 1939, under Crown Representative’s Police but after independence, it was made statutory after enactment of the CRPF Act, 1949.

Its main role is to assist States/Union Territories in police operations to maintain law and order and contain the insurgency.

CRPF personnel also carries out several operations in situations of crisis like terrorist attacks, counter-terrorism operations, rescuing citizens during terrorist attacks among others.
