વડાપ્રધાનનો સ્પેન પ્રવાસે - ત્રીસ વર્ષમાં પહેલા વડાપ્રધાન...

વડાપ્રધાન આજે પોતાની વિદેશયાત્રામાં સ્પેન પહોંચ્યા છે. છેલ્લા 30 વર્ષમાં નરેન્દ્ર મોદી પહેલા વડાપ્રધાન છે જે સ્પેનના પ્રવાસે જઈ રહ્યા છે.નરેન્દ્ર મોદી ચાર દેશની પોતાના છ દિવસના પ્રવાસના બીજા તબક્કામાં આજે સ્પેનની રાજધાની પહોંચ્યા.  

આ બંને દેશો વચ્ચે ઈન્ફ્રાસ્ટ્રક્ચર અને એનર્જી સેક્ટર વિશે કરાર થઈ શકે છે. હાલમાં ભારતમાં 200 સ્પેનિશ કંપનીઓ સક્રિય છે. એપ્રિલ 2000થી 2016 સુધીમાં સ્પેનમાંથી ભારતમાં 2.32 અબજનું રોકાણ થયું છે.

Ban on Plastic bags…

Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar said on Tuesday , from July, who found buying or selling plastic bags in Goa will be fined. He announced stringent measures to make the coastal state free of plastic bags.

“The fine won’t be a meagre amount. It will be hefty. It might be up to 5,000. We might give some relaxation in the beginning in terms of the amount of fine, but we are going to implement the ban strictly,” he said.

“We have provided work stations to collect garbage on the highways. People should hand over their garbage at these work stations,” he said.

Big B to lead Modi govt’s ‘Darwaza Band’...

 

Bollywood star Amitabh Bachchan will launch "Darwaza Band" campaign from Mumbai on 30^th may to promote use of toilets. Bachchan is one of the brand ambassadors of Narendra Modi government’s ‘Swachch Bharat’ campaign.

“Darwaja Band stands for shutting the door on open defecation,” a senior government officer involved with the programme told HT.

Actress Anuskha Sharma is also part of the campaign and will be seen encouraging women to stand up for this issue in their villages and assume a leadership role.

RBI to introduce new Re 1 currency note...

On 30^th may, the Reserve Bank of India will soon circulate one rupee notes while the existing notes and coins will also continue.

The new notes, which have been printed by the government, will be pink-green in colour with the representation of the one rupee coin on the reverse of the note.

“These currency notes are legal tender as provided in The Coinage Act 2011,” RBI said in a release.

The new notes will bear the bilingual signature of economic affairs secretary Shaktikanta Das.

IMPORTANT NOTE: 

The one-rupee note and all coin has always been issued by the central government means Government of India not by RBI .  

India Mobile Congress (IMC 2017) to be held in September…

India is set to have its first global event to attract investments from global players in the telecom and mobile phone manufacturing sectors, with Indian Mobile Congress (IMC), a three-day event in September on the lines of the yearly global mega event World Mobile Congress held in Barcelona. 

It was announced by the Union Minister for Communications Manoj Sinha. This is the first time India is all set to host its own mobile mega show. The Indian telecom market is the second-largest in the world after China. India has a total subscriber base of over 1.18 billion subscribers.

World No Tobacco Day (WNTD)

WNTD is observed around the world every year on May 31.

It is intended to encourage a 24-hour period of abstinence from all forms of tobacco consumption around the world. 

The day is further intended to draw attention to the widespread prevalence of tobacco use and to negative health effects, which currently lead to nearly 6 million deaths each year worldwide, including 600,000 of which are the result of non-smokers being exposed to second-hand smoke. 

The member states of the World Health Organization (WHO) created World No Tobacco Day in 1987. 

Amul Signs MoU with ISRO

Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF) today said it has signed an agreement with ISRO for fodder acreage assessment using satellite observation and space technology.

GCMMF markets its products under the brand name of 'Amul'
Under the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), ISRO will help in identification between food crops and fodder crops at village level and also locate suitable areas of current fallows and cultivable wastelands at village level for green fodder cultivation, GCMMF said in a release.

વડાપ્રધાન મોદીએ જર્મની સાથે ૧૨ કરાર કર્યા…

વડાપ્રધાન નરેન્દ્ર મોદીના જર્મનીના પ્રવાસ દરમિયાન બંને દેશો વચ્ચે ૧૨ સમજૂતીઓ પર હસ્તાક્ષર કરવામાં આવ્યા છે.  સાયબર નીતિ, વિકાસ કાર્યક્રમો, સ્થિર શહેરી વિકાસ, મેનેજર અને કૌશલ્ય ધરાવતા કર્મચારીઓને તાલીમ, ડિજિટલાઇઝેશન, રેલવે સુરક્ષા અને વોકેશનલ ટ્રેનિંગનો પ્રસાર વધારવા જેવા ક્ષેત્રોમાં ૧૨ કરાર કરવામાં આવ્યા હતાં. 

નરેન્દ્ર મોદીએ જણાવ્યું હતું કે ભારતમાં ૮૦ કરોડ યુવાનો છે અને ભારતની ૬૫ ટકા વસ્તીની ઉંમર ૩૫ વર્ષથી ઓછી હોવાથી જર્મનીના કૌશલ્ય વિકાસનો લાભ ભારતને મળી શકે છે. જર્મનીની મજબૂત ફૂટબોલ ટ્રેનિંગ સ્કીલનો લાભ પણ ભારતને મળી શકે છે.
