પહેલી જુલાઈથી દેશમાં ગુડ્સ એન્ડ સર્વિસ ટેક્સ લાગુ કરી દેવા કેન્દ્ર સરકાર મક્કમ જ છે. કર્ણાવતી ક્લબમાં અરુણ જેટલીએ જાહેરાત કરી.

ગુડ્સ એન્ડ સર્વિસટેક્સની નવતર વ્યવસ્થા અમલમાં આવતા મલ્ટીપલ ટેક્સ અને એક કરતાં વધુ અધિાકરીઓ પાસે જઈને કામ કરાવવાની જફામાંથી વેપારી આલમને છૂટકારો મળી જશે. તેમણે કોઈ જ અધિકારીને સીધા ન મળવાનું હોવાથી અને બધું જ કામ ઓનલાઈન કરવાનું હોવાથી ભ્રષ્ટાચાર બંધ થઈ જશે. ૧૯૯૧માં ફોરેક્સ ખૂટી જતાં આર્થિક સુધારાઓ કરવા સિવાય ચારો નહોતો.

Schizophrenia Day – 24^th May

Schizophrenia is the most persistent and disabling of the major mental illnesses.

It usually attacks people between the ages of 16 and 30, as they are beginning to realize their potential. It affects approximately one in 100 people worldwide, (one per cent of the population), affecting men and women almost equally. While it is treatable in many cases, there is as yet no cure for schizophrenia.

The mind controls the basic functions of thinking, feeling (emotions), perception (the five senses) and behaviour. These functions ordinarily work together, enabling us to:

• tell the difference between fantasy and reality
• keep anxiety at manageable levels
• have appropriate emotional responses
• make sense of what happens to us
• maintain a stable sense of who we are
• establish and maintain relationships with others

તીરંદાજીના ઈવેન્ટમાં ભારતીય મેન્સ ટીમે ગોલ્ડ મેડલ જીત્યો

ચીનના શાંઘાઈ શહેરમાં યોજાયલી તીરંદાજીના ઈવેન્ટમાં ભારતીય મેન્સ ટીમે ગોલ્ડ મેડલ જીત્યો હતો. ભારતના અભિષેક વર્મા, ચિન્ના રાજુ શ્રીધર અને અમનજીત સિંઘની ત્રિપુટીએ ૨૨૬-૨૨૧ના સ્કોરથી ફાઈનલમાં વિજય મેળવ્યો હતો. 

ભારતીય ટીમે આ વર્લ્ડ કપ મુકાબલામાં શરૂઆતમાં વિયેતનામને, ત્યાર બાદ વર્લ્ડ ચેમ્પિયન ઈરાનને, તે પછી સેમિ ફાઇનલમાં ટોચનો ક્રમાંક ધરાવતા અમેરિકાને અને ફાઇનલમાં કોલંબિયાને હરાવ્યું હતુ. 

MP government announces indefinite ban on sand mining in Narmada river

On Monday(22^nd may), Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan of Madhya Pradesh announced, a blanket ban on sand mining in river Narmada – considered the lifeline of the central Indian state.

“We have decided to ban sand mining in river Narmada till a committee of experts submits its report on scientific mining in the river,” said Chouhan while addressing a hurriedly convened press conference in state capital Bhopal.

NASA have discovered a new organism, named it - APJ Abdul Kalam. This new organism - a form of a bacteria - has not been found on earth and has been found only on the International Space Station (ISS).

દેશની પ્રથમ હાઈ-સ્પીડ અને અનેક સુવિધાઓથી સજ્જ તેજસ એક્સપ્રેસ

રેલવે મંત્રી સુરેશ પ્રભુએ  દેશની પ્રથમ હાઈ-સ્પીડ અને અનેક સુવિધાઓથી સજ્જ તેજસ એક્સપ્રેસને મુંબઈના છત્રપતિ શિવાજી ટર્મિનલ ખાતેથી લીલીઝંડી આપી. આ ટ્રેન અઠવાડિયામાં પાંચ દિવસ મુંબઈ અને ગોવા વચ્ચે દોડશે.ચોમાસા દરમિયાન આ ટ્રેન અઠવાડિયામાં ત્રણ દિવસ દોડશે.

તેજસ ટ્રેનમાં ચા-કોફીના વેંડિંગ મશીનો ઉપરાંત દરેક સીટ પર LCD સ્ક્રીન અને વાઇ-ફાઇ સુવિધા પણ હશે. ટ્રેનના 20 કોચમાં આ સુવિધાઓ હશે. ખાસ વાત એ છે કે આ દેશની પહેલી એવી ટ્રેન હશે જેના તમામ કોચમાં ઓટોમેટિક દરવાજા બંધ થઇ જવાની સાથે સુરક્ષિત ગેંગવેઝ (ડબ્બાઓની વચ્ચેના કોરિડોર્સ) હશે.

નેવાનાં પાણી મોભે ચઢાવ્યાં: મોદી

'નેવાના પાણી મોભે ચઢ્યાં' એવી લોકોક્તિ, વડાપ્રધાન નરેન્દ્ર મોદીએ નર્મદાના પાણીનું કચ્છમાં અવતરણ કરાવતી યોજનાનું લોકાર્પણ કરતા સિદ્ધ થઈ છે. કચ્છના વાગડ પ્રદેશમાં ભચાઉ નજીકના ટપ્પર ડેમમાં નર્મદાનું પાણી ભરવા માટે ૧૪૮ કરોડના ખર્ચે તૈયાર કરેલા પમ્પિંગ સ્ટેશનનું ઉદ્ધાટન કર્યું હતું.

ભચાઉના લોધેશ્વર ખાતે પ્રાધાનમંત્રી નરેન્દ્ર મોદીના હસ્તે નર્મદાના નીરના વાધામણા કરી ટપ્પર ડેમ સુધી પાણી પહોંચાડવાની કામગીરીનો પ્રારંભ કરવામાં આવ્યો હતો. પાણી મળ્યા બાદ કચ્છ જિલ્લો ઔદ્યોગિક ક્રાન્તિ બાદ હવે હરિત ક્રાન્તિ સર્જાશે.
